Use this tool to search for the CUSIP number for stocks and other equities. CUSIP stands for Committee on Uniform Securities Identification Procedures. The CUSIP system facilitates the clearing and settlement process of securities and generally requires a login from a service with access to the database. A CUSIP number identifies most securities, including: stocks of all registered U.S. and Canadian companies, and U.S. government and municipal bonds.
